Waltz With Bashir em DVD e Blu-Ray

23 de Junho é o dia marcado para o lançamento do DVD e Blu-ray de Waltz With Bashir.
Como já é costume nestas coisas, a versão blu-ray inclui a versão HD do filme, bem como uma série infindável de extras, como por exemplo o Making Of do filme e as 3 codificações existentes para blu-ray.

Prémios BAFTA

Foram ontem distribuídos os BAFTA Awards no Royal Opera House em Londres, e no que diz respeito à animação, Wall-E foi sem grandes surpresas o vencedor da noite, batendo Waltz With Bashir e Persepolis. Nick Park garantiu mais um galardão para a Aardman, e mais uma vez venceu o prémio para a melhor Curta Metragem de Animação com Wallace & Gromit: A Matter Of Loaf And Death.
Extra animação, Slumdog Millionaire foi o grande vencedor da noite, arrecadando 6 prémios, entre os quais o de Melhor Filme.

Waltz vence na crítica Londrina

Watlz With Bashir venceu o prémio para Melhor Filme Estrangeiro no London Film Critics' Circle, tendo Wall-E deixado escapar o prémio do Melhor Filme para The Wrestler.

Annie Awards

E desta vez Wall-E e Waltz With Bashir não foram os grandes Vencedores... tornando-se mesmo nos grandes derrotados da noite, não vencendo nenhum dos galardões para que estavam nomeados... O grande vencedor foi Kung-Fu Panda, vencendo 10 prémios...
Este foi sem dúvida uma entrega de prémios que fugiu à regra, pois até hoje, Wall-E e Waltz With Bashir tinham "limpado" tudo o que havia para limpar, destronando toda a concorrência onde se incluem o vencedor da noite Kung-Fu Panda... o que me permite alguma desconfiança sobre a "isenção" destes galardões...

A British Academy of Film and Television Arts já escolheu os nomeados para os seus prémios.

Wall-E é também candidato aos prémios de Melhor Musica e Melhores Efeitos Sonoros.

Não me canso de repetir... Wall-E Venceu... Desta vez, venceu o prémio para o Melhor Filme Animado para a "Broadcast Film Critics Association", derrotando Bolt, Kung-Fu Panda, Madagascar e Waltz With Bashir.
Quanto a Waltz With Bashir, apesar de ter sido derrotado pelo Robot "limpa tudo", venceu o prémio para Melhor Filme Estrangeiro, batendo por exemplo, a máfia italiana de Gomorrah!

Waltz with Bashir e Persepolis pré-nomeados

Waltz with Bashir e Persepolis estão pré-nomeados para o Melhor Filme Estrangeiro no que diz respeito aos Prémios BAFTA.
Quanto aos prémios da animação, Wall-E, Persepolis, The Tale of Despereaux Waltz With Bashir e Kung-Fu Panda são os pré-nomeados.

Segundo o variety.com, a National Society of Film Critics, atribuiu o prémio de melhor filme a Waltz with Bashir. Wall-E e Waltz with Bashir estão a encaminhar a animação para um ano em grande, com grandes nomeações e muitas consagrações...

Wall-e venceu...

A "Los Angeles Film Critics Association" entregou o prémio de melhor filme do ano a "Wall-e"... Pela primeira vez, na história desta associação, um filme de animação foi eleito como tal...
No que diz respeito ao melhor filme animado, o prémio foi para "Waltz with bashir"...
Pode-se dizer que Wall-e caminha a passos largos para o filme animado com mais estatuetas... ou então a crítica de Hollywood vai mais uma vez fazer birra...

Waltz with Bashir - Trailer

Ari Folman, realizador de "Waltz with Bashir", participou na invasão Israelita ao Líbano em 1982, como soldado. Segundo o próprio Folman, este filme foi uma terapia de 4 anos, pois recordar a "maior atrocidade do conflito israelo-árabe" não foi nada fácil, mesmo para os soldados Israelitas.
Filho de sobreviventes do holocausto, Ari Folman, participa então num dos mais sangrentos episódios deste confilito que infelizmente ainda perdura. A "raiva" de ser enviado para uma batalha onde não queria estar, e a incapacidade de não poder fazer nada para mudar o que o General "Sharon" ordenára, marcou-lhe a vida com uma angustia que lhe bloqueou a mente até aos dias de hoje. Este filme é não só a forma de mostrar o que se passou, mas também a forma de retirar aos seus filhos qualquer pensamento ou acto violento.
Candidato ao Oscar de melhor filme estrangeiro, "Waltz with Bashir" estreará em Portugal a 31 de Dezembro... Altamente recomendado...
